Lamar Odom Charity Fraud Claims
On March 28, ESPN accused Khloe Kardashian‘s husband Lamar Odom of using funds from his kid’s cancer charity for unrelated purposes. Cathy’s Kids, named after Lamar’s mother who died of stomach cancer, is a charity aimed at raising money for cancer research and underprivileged children.
Investigators for ESPN’s show Outside the Lines claimed the charity has raised $2.2 million since 2004, but hasn’t spent any of it on anything cancer-related. Instead, the investigators claim that at least 60 percent of the funds have been used to fund elite basketball travel teams, and that Lamar also used the charity’s money to pay his high school coach’s annual salary of $26,000.
Khloe Kardashian attempted to do some damage control by firing back-
“It is unfortunate that my husband has been the target of an attack on athletes’ charities, although he has personally contributed approximately $2.2 million to his foundation, Cathy’s Kids, to fulfill its charitable purposes that include helping underprivileged inner-city youth,” Khloe writes.
She adds, “The millions of dollars personally contributed by Lamar constituted more than 90% of the money raised by the foundation. All of the funds donated by Lamar and the other contributions to Cathy’s Kids were used for one of the foundation’s intended charitable purposes. Not one penny went to help Lamar personally or any member of his family. No charitable funds were misused, and the IRS has repeatedly given Cathy’s Kids a clean bill of health, confirming that there were no improprieties.”
Khloe ended by noting, “Cathy’s Kids was formed with several purposes in mind, including benefitting underprivileged youth and cancer research. A decision was ultimately made that the charity should focus on one of those purposes — to help enrich the lives of underprivileged inner-city youth. It accomplished that goal. Cathy’s Kids helped fund multiple AAU basketball teams providing underprivileged youth with opportunities enriching their lives, providing financial support for coaching and travel to tournaments, helping inner-city youth on a path toward success and leading many participants to go on to college.”

Kanye West Rants About Men’s Fashion Trends

It’s been awhile since the “Way Too Cold” rapper and DW Kanye West designer has gone off on one of his notorious Twitter rants, but West couldn’t help himself on Saturday. Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend unleashed a new rant — this time, passionately sharing his fashion pet peeves and used New Yorkers as his inspiration.
“Just driving through the city and I see a few things I hate…” the 34-year-old rapper/fashion designer tweeted Saturday. “I hate button up shirts with hoods. I hate hoods with sport coats. I hate sport coats with button up shirts, jeans and dress shoes.”
“I hate khaki trench coats with jeans and off brand work out sneakers,” he continued. “I hate khaki cargo shorts. I hate big ass striped scarves. I hate long ass sideburns with line up RnB beard.”
And West concluded his rant by writing, “…All this in 5 blocks. Detest. #I’m on my snob.”
However, West recently suffered a wardrobe malfunction himself! While exiting a car with Kardashian in NYC, West was caught trying to pull up his pants by photographers.
“He was getting out of the car and his belt got pulled by this hook on the car door and he was trying to pull it up quick and his belt was really heavy,” Kardashian, 31, explained to E! News Wednesday. “It was a wardrobe malfunction, but it wasn’t anything intentional. It was not scandalous.”
Kanye West’s new track and Kardashian rumors
Kanye West has changed the title of his controversial new song following a backlash from the manufacturer of the drug it’s named after, who slammed the rapper for inappropriately cribbing their product’s name.
Henceforth, West would like you to know that you should call the track “Way Too Cold.”

Meanwhile, Ye has been on the defense that he ever called Kim Kardashian his Beyonce. Ouch, something about that just seems so…. shallow.
Are Kim and Kanye Dating?
Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West really dating? There was no straight answer to be had from the reality-TV star Friday morning, so for now paparazzi pictures of the two out on the town together will have to speak for themselves.
“I completely respect and understand that you have to ask these questions,” Kardashian told Ann Curry on the “Today” show, “but as I’ve said before, Kanye and I have been friends for years.” (We don’t hear a “no” in there, do you?)
Then again, she added, “You never know what the future holds or where my life will take me. So … I like the song!”
She was referring to “Theraflu,” the new tune from West in which he says that he fell in love with Kim “‘Round the same time she had fell in love with him,” referring to her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kris Humphries.
West and Kardashian were photographed leaving “The Hunger Games” together on Thursday night and lunching at New York’s Serafina on Friday; also, according to TMZ, Kardashian was snapped Friday morning leaving the building where West lives, wearing the same outfit from movie night.
As for the fate of Mr. Humphries, and the possibility of an annulment, Kardashian said she’d be in favor of one, she’s just not sure they’d qualify. And no, she said again, the wedding wasn’t done for ratings, because she doesn’t need better ratings.
“Anyone that knows me knows that I love really hard, I fall really hard, and I followed my heart.”
In “Theraflu,” incidentally, West also alludes to appreciation of fur, taunting, “Tell PETA my mink is draggin’ on the floor” — so he and Kardashian have that in common, as she told Curry that despite a “flour-bombing” attack by a PETA-affiliated protester, she isn’t giving up her personal furs any time soon.
“I have vintage furs that were my great-grandmother’s that mean the world to me, with her initials inscribed in them, and I won’t get rid of that memory of my great-grandparents,” she said. “So I think it’s a personal choice, but I don’t think it’s OK to assault anybody.”
Khloe Quits PETA because of Kim’s Flour Bombing
LOL. Khloe issued this “statement” on her “blog” addressing why her decision to quit PETA.
Hi dolls. I’m sure you all heard what happened to Kim last week (thank you SO much for the love and support you all showed her), and I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise. Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior. I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don’t condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that. I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions — I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them. I am a very proud sister right now, because Kim handled last week’s incident like a champ. She got cleaned up and was back out there in a matter of minutes. Go Kimmie!
We all need to practice what we preach. I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won’t be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise.
Kris Humphries’ Sister Kaela Now a Ford Model
Looks like Kris Humphries isn’t the only member of his family staying in the spotlight.
Humphries’ older sister, Kaela, 29, has just signed a deal with elite modeling agency Ford Models’ plus-size division.
“The division that brought you Crystal Renn, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine and Marquita Pring among others is excited at the prospect of bringing this beautiful, engaging young woman to markets worldwide,” the agency said in a release. “A true size 16-18, Kaela will be in a league of her own.”
She’s no stranger to the modeling business. Kaela, who has appeared on “Kourtney and Khloe Take New York,” has previously been signed with Wilhemina Models in Los Angeles and has appeared on the CW’s “Remodeled.”
Kourtney Kardashian Is Having a Girl!
Get ready for another Kardashian girl!
Pregnant with her second child, Kourtney Kardashian is going to have a daughter, she told E! News Wednesday. Due this spring, the baby-to-be will join big brother Mason, the 32-year-old reality star’s son with beau Scott Disick.
“We feel so blessed to be having a little girl and to be able to share this new experience with Mason,” Kardashian told E!
Kardashian and Disick, 28, first broke news of their pregnancy with Us Weekly last November.
Gushed her sister Kim: “I am so excited for Kourt and Scott…Mason is the best baby ever and I can’t wait to be an aunt again!”
Music stars in Upload of trouble
Swizz Beatz has Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West and Will.i.am in hot water with their label by getting them to promote his site, MegaUpload. The CEO of the Internet company, Beatz — also a recording artist, producer and DJ — persuaded the stars to appear in a “Mega Song” video promoting his service, intended to send large media files. The catch is the music industry has been fighting against file sharing, accusing the services MegaUpload offers of supporting piracy. Beatz’s wife, Alicia Keys, has also promoted the site with her picture and a quote. Swizz had also asked Mary J. Blige, Kim Kardashian, Lil Jon and Macy Gray to promote MegaUpload. But after the starry promo appeared on YouTube last month, Diddy, Kanye and Will.i.am’s label, Universal Music Group, issued a “take-down notice” to YouTube, saying the artists’ performances were unauthorized. Their individual reps followed up, sources say. Mega-Upload fired back with a lawsuit against Universal to stop it from blocking distribution of the video. A Mega rep told us: “We have never received any word that any artist has [individually] filed a take-down . . . [we have] legally binding agreements with the performers that appear in the video . . . They promised that they had the rights to enter into that agreement and it’s not interfering with any third-party rights.” UMG and Diddy reps wouldn’t comment. West’s and Will.i.am’s reps didn’t get back to us.
Suicide Watch: Sinead O’Connor (again)
Yep. She’s at it again. After attempting suicide in 99, then getting married, then divorcing, then getting married again, we’ve put Sinead on suicide watch because the whole soap opera is on twitter.
