Nick Stahl Vanishes
Los Angeles police are continuing to search for missing “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” star Nick Stahl in and around the city’s drug-infested homeless enclave of Skid Row and say they do not believe his disappearance involved foul play.
Stahl was reported missing on Monday by his wife Rose, who said she had not seen him since May 9.
Detective Carmine Sasso from the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit told ET on Friday that Rose admitted the actor had been known to frequent the Skid Row area and was also known to disappear “for days at a time” in the past. “We are getting the information out to our patrol officers where Nick might frequent. We are trying to locate him,” Sasso said.
The Los Angeles Times reported that LAPD officers thought they had a possible sighting of Stahl on Wednesday, but it turned out to be a false alarm.
Last February, Rose filed court papers indicating that she had separated from Nick and she sought a court order allowing only monitored visits between her husband and the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Marlo.
Jennifer Love Hewitt Steams Up Maxim
Jennifer Love Hewitt is poised to steam up the small screen in “The Client List” as an all-American mom and former pageant queen-turned-friendly neighborhood prostitute, and now she’s steaming up the pages of Maxim sporting just a bra and panties!
This is the fourth time the former “Party of Five” hottie has graced the cover of Maxim, and she jokes to the magazine, “It’s my scale of how good I look. Whenever you guys call and say it’s time to be on your cover, I’m like, ‘OK, I’m in good shape.’ And when you don’t call, I’m like, ‘I guess I should hit the gym.’
As for her “Client List” character and the “lingerie-heavy show,” Jennifer offers, “I’ve never played a character who is this overtly sexual. It’s definitely going to be a departure from the normal stuff I do. Plus, we have a lot of really fun things in the series eye-candy-wise for our audience.”
The “Client List” series (originally based on a made-for-TV movie of the same name) premieres April 8 on Lifetime.
Kris Humphries’ Sister Kaela Now a Ford Model
Looks like Kris Humphries isn’t the only member of his family staying in the spotlight.
Humphries’ older sister, Kaela, 29, has just signed a deal with elite modeling agency Ford Models’ plus-size division.
“The division that brought you Crystal Renn, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine and Marquita Pring among others is excited at the prospect of bringing this beautiful, engaging young woman to markets worldwide,” the agency said in a release. “A true size 16-18, Kaela will be in a league of her own.”
She’s no stranger to the modeling business. Kaela, who has appeared on “Kourtney and Khloe Take New York,” has previously been signed with Wilhemina Models in Los Angeles and has appeared on the CW’s “Remodeled.”
Former Sitcom Star Reveals she was homeless
The former star of a successful ABC sitcom revealed that she’s homeless after running out of money and battling addictions, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s The Live Feed blog.
Brett Butler, who starred on “Grace Under Fire” for five years, tells “Entertainment Tonight” that she “did everything but crack and needles, pretty much,” according to the piece. After the Chuck Lorre-created show was canceled in 1998, she moved to a farm in Georgia. But she ran out of money and wound up in a homeless shelter, the piece says.
Butler says she hopes people will forgive her for “making someone’s day miserable over the choice of a word in a 22-minute show. A lot of times, I’d be an ass and didn’t even think I was.” The actress is working on a comeback and is developing a reality TV show about her psychic abilities, the article adds.
DAVID ARQUETTE: COURTENEY COX AND I WON’T RECONCILE
Although David Arquette and Courteney Cox have yet to file for divorce over a year after separating — and remain on extremely friendly, chummy terms — a marital reconciliation is not in the cards.
That’s what Arquette, 40, insisted during a Tuesday appearance on “The Howard Stern Show.” The actor and recent “Dancing With the Stars” contestant insisted to Stern that he and Cox, 47, who share daughter Coco, 7, are past the point of getting back together.
Arquette is now dating “Entertainment Tonight” reporter Christina McLarty. Stern asked him, “If Courteney said to you, ‘David, I made a mistake. I want to work on our marriage. I want you moving back into the house. I want you to break up with that girl. I know we have to do this for our daughter.’ Would you consider it?”
Replied Arquette, “Uh, I mean, no.”
That’s not to say that there isn’t plenty of love between the pair, who were married for 11 years before splitting in October 2010. When he told Cox that he was in love with McLarty, it was very emotional.
“She was sad; we were both sad. We both cried,” he said.
Arquette has famously overshared with Stern about his marital problems — even admitting to a mental breakdown on air — but told Stern he endeavors to have fewer TMI moments going forward.
“I’m trying to keep my personal life personal,” the “Scream 4″ actor said. “It’s very hard for me because I’m a very honest person.”
